 Hi Everyone! We are excited to announce that the Oasis Womens Conference 2012 will be taking place on Friday 24th & Satuday 25th February at the beautiful Porthminster Hotel, St Ives, Cornwall. We have an exciting line up this year, with our two speakers being home grown Cornish girls, and our Worship Leader and singer, coming from Wales. Hannah Giddens is a born and bred Cornish girl, growing up in Helston as a Pastor's daughter, she is now married to one! Based at Truro Light and Life Church with husband Jonny, Hannah is a dynamic communicator who and carries a deep longing to see ladies discover their identity in God and live in the freedom of the gospel. They have 4 children, whom she home-schools.....and a dog.(He isn't homeschooled!) Lesley Searle lives in a picturesque cottage in Breage, near Porthleven and is on the Leadership Team of Porthleven Apostolic Church. She is a practice manager of a busy surgery in Penzance, and has worked there for 18 years. With a rich Biblical insight and great teaching gift, Lesley is a regular speaker at K.Y.B. (Know Your Bible) and in her local Church. She is a qualified counsellor, and uses those skills with Penhaligons Friends Child Bereavement Charity. She is also a self confessed chocoholic! Cath Woolridge is a young Welsh lady who oozes with worship and music. Having trained at the Royal College of Music and Drama, Cath is employed by Going Public, an exciting project delivering the Christian message through drama and music, and also as worship music co-ordinator at Glenwood Church, Cardiff, her home Church. Her CD ’Mercy’ is her testimony through song and poetry, and the 2nd CD ‘It’s just the beginning’ is about digging up spiritual inheritance, and has toured Wales. Cath has also been the worship leader at New Wine Wales. We will be holding the conference in the self contained Godrevy Suite, which has a decking area overlooking the sea.A particular bonus will be the access to the Spa facilities, opening in the Summer of 2011.The use of facilities is included in the residential cost, but costs an additional £10 for day delagates.
